— Casa Perzo

Casa Perzo, by Chile based architects Pezo von Ellrichshausen, is the first home in this year’s Solo Houses series, an annual initiative in which emerging architecture firms are tasked with encapsulating their design philosophies within a 200 m2 vacation home, stretching innovation and creativity to propose ideal structures with viable budgets.

Supported on a monolithic concrete form rising above the landscape, an exterior veranda provides unobstructed views of the Matarranya region of Spain, whilst a substantial base supports the inhabitable element from below, giving the occupants the feeling of hovering above the trees.
