— House Of Books

We’ve posted many images of the world’s most beautiful libraries, and also featured this book in particular, but little excuse is need to add to the list:

Franck Bohbot, a Brooklyn-based photographer, documents beautiful libraries for his ongoing series ‘House Of Books’. He began photographing the wonderful spaces in Paris and Rome, and plans to travel further afield to North America, South America, and Asia to capture more breathtaking architectur.

 

Paying tribute to the Architects – the light, the composition and the colors have to be coherent in all the series… I wanted to give a new approach, in terms of atmosphere, colors and composition. I will also include contemporary libraries, small rooms and entrances. This is a long project, and this is the beginning.”
