At The English Group at the moment we have four typeface design projects underway and of course this makes us particularly alert to other original type design that’s out there.

‘Arcan’o for Example is a 26-glyph type made by Giuseppe Salerno that is completely hand-lettered and then scanned in to make this stylized sans-serif beauty. Apparently, it took four months to create, but the end result is breathtaking! – and he has some wonderful in-process pictures to show you how he achieved it  (Via Behance):
