— Paper Sculptures

Anna-Wili Highfield is a Sydney based artist. After studying fine art, Anna-Wili worked for several years as a scenic artist for Opera Australia before realising her paper and copper pipe animals.

Her paper sculptures are created from archival cotton paper that is painted and sewn together. The copper pipe is bent and manipulated to create forms reminiscent of line drawings.

Anna-Wili works by commission. Her commercial clients include Carla Zampatti, Bianca Spender, Anthropologie and Hermes, however, her sculptures have predominantly been commissioned by private clients, both within Australia and around the world.

Her work has appeared in publications all around the world including the UK, France, Germany, The Netherlands, the USA, China, and Australia.
