We have posted Felice Varini a number of times before and I think his work is fantastic…
…so imagine my delight when I went to Kings Cross and found that he had covered the Central St Martins building in silver vinyl! Here are a few snaps for you that I took from the viewing platform.
“Felice Varini is a Swiss born artist working from Paris. For over thirty years, he has been creating anamorphic installations around the world, intervening with space and our perception of built environments. He typically paints on architectural and urban spaces, such as buildings, walls and streets. In more recent works, he has started to use self-adhesive foil tape which is applied to the building surface and can create playful effects with light and texture.”
I strongly recommend that you make your way there yourself and check it out.
But first, check out our other post here.
