When faced with living in a small city apartment, people can get pretty creative with their interior designs and storage options.
In Camden, London, one particular inhabitant decided to suspend their bed from the ceiling, right in the middle of the living space. This then opened up a whole new work space below, as well as enabling constant access to the 500 sq ft roof terrace through the retractable glass ceiling window. With the toilet located in a tiny cubicle, the bath/shower also needed to be re-located and now features in the kitchen, next to the dining table. Storage spaces are also a major problem for a lot of city livers, so here they’ve been neatly tucked away under the bed’s staircase to allow the apartment to remain clean and clutter-free.
