CMYK Alphabet is a typographic experiment, a set of 26 sans-serif uppercase letterforms on a grid of 5×5 inch.
Each letter is hand embroidered by Evelin Kasikov using a combination of two overlapping CMYK colours.
On the 5th of October 2013, a cargo ship ran aground in New Zealand pouring 350 tons of oil into the ocean. While the Environment Minister Nick Smith described the oil spill as the nation’s ‘most significant maritime environmental disasters’, volunteers took to the shores to save the local wildlife.
Helen and Colin David are contemporary British artists and designers. Known originally for their fashion/textile label, English Eccentrics, they now practice primarily as artists, working in a variety of media, but always including work on textiles.
