Engaged as Project Director to oversee the relaunch of a heritage business originally founded by Napoleon Bonaparte, this glorious all-consuming project saw members of The English Group’s team become based both in Paris and at the new owner’s Mayfair headquarters for a two year period.
As well as bringing the business’s legacy brand identity up-to-date, we oversaw the acquisitions and re-establishment of a network of third party suppliers specialising in all forms of heritage printing techniques; not least engraving and die-stamoing, letterpress, thermography, embossing and hot-foil-blocking.
The English Group was commissioned to design luxury bespoke stationery for clients as esteemed as Karl Lagerfeld, the Rothschilds and a number of Middle Eastern royal families. For Armorial’s Paris and Mayfair boutiques, we designed a broad portfolio of luxury stationery and paper-based gift items; for example, correspondence cards with original bespoke motifs, greetings cards, notepads and exquisite leatherbound notebooks.
