The English Group has produced almost countless invitations for London’s landmark Claridge’s hotel. …as well as for the parent company, Maybourne Hotels, and the two sister hotels The Connaught and The Berkeley.

This invitation was to announce the re-opening of the hotel’s newly refurbished ballroom and to complement the hotel’s Art Deco styling, an appropriate prohibition/speakeasy tone of voice was approved. A black invitation card was made to feel especially Art Deco with the application of metallic silver foil-blocked text and this was then wrapped in a pastiche newspaper from the era and sealed with a bellyband.
