Quite Frankly: Launch Marketing

The first issue of The Quite Delightful Project’s luxury magazine for women boasted an impressive 360 pages of erotic photography, illustration and unabashed text content.
The question that preoccupied us though throughout the gestation of this project was how far might we go to ensure that the magazine’s prospective audience was aware of the publication’s existence.
One of the many marketing strands we decided on was to create a series of digital postcards – for use on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter – detailing a single image from each of the photographic essays featured across the pages of the magazine, as well as additional images (self-portraits in fact) shot by the magazine’s editorial team.

Issue One of the magazine, the Quite Frankly issue, went on to sell to customers in 27 countries and its initial print run was entirely sold out.
