Last week we were delighted to attend the Private View of Steve McCurry: People & Places at the South Bank Tower in London; an exhibition of photographic portraits of artists and artisan businesses from the boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth.

The English Group is proud to have been invited to design a Limited Edition book to complement to project launch, which features all of McCurry’s photography for this project.This book is a large format edition – 400mm x 300mm – and is lovingly packaged in a linen covered Solander box. The agency also produced a concertina map direct mailer detailing the locations of all the subjects featured in the essay.

The exhibition is open to the public at the South Bank Tower from 19 – 27 September.

Beneath the snapshot images featured below of Steve McCurry signing copies of the book, are portraits of: poet Lemn Sissay MBE, photographer Thierry Bal, baker Juliet Baptiste-Kelly, designer Fleur Paterson, and goldsmith Mikala Djorup with Keith Lunt of Opal Print.

Images also feature The English Group’s Simone Aagaard – the designer of the book – Alice Taylor and Flora Morgan.
